For all of our hip-hop junkies that know a thing or two about Project Blowed I bet you already know what the deal is, for those who don’t here you go; Project Blowed is one of the most influential hearts of LA hip-hop is turning 17. From the days when PB wasn’t even an idea but an open-mic at the Good Life Cafe in Los Angeles it has always promoted and supported nothing but the purest in hip-hop and they continue to do so. This weekend as well as next weekend PB will be throwing an event to commemorate and celebrate their longevity with what other than a live show that will for sure end your year with a bang!
This Sunday the Grouch ends his 5th annual How The Grouch Stole Xmas tour here in Los Angeles. I’m telling you right now you best have your tickets handy because you never know what friends might come out to show the already amazing line-up some love. The tour already guarantees you the Grouch, Zion I, Eligh, Evidence and Luckyiam with DJ Fresh on the tables, what more could you ask for!

Okay, so now that I actually have some free time to post on the site, I decided to make these featured artist posts more of a frequent thing to do. I figure why not share some of my favorite artists every week or so with everyone who takes the time to read these posts. This way I can let people in on fresh artists, from Raw Hip Hop to Raw Glitch Hop.
Straight off of Blu’s “No York,” this video should come as nothing new for some of you. Featuring Wu-Tang’s very own UGOD and produced by Flying Lotus, the song alone is enough to get your head moving. As most of you should know Flying Lotus takes music to a whole other level, and his colabs are always neck breakers.
